A mysterious creature that drifts through the abyss, hiding an endless void within its hollow centre.
The Story
Deep beneath the surface, where even light struggles to survive, drifts the Void Drifter.
Unlike the hunters of the abyss, it doesn’t chase its prey. It simply glides through the darkness, its enormous hollow centre drawing the attention of anything curious enough to venture too close.
No one knows where the void leads—or if it has a bottom at all.
Many creatures have disappeared through its centre.
None have ever returned.

Behind the Artwork
I wanted this creature to look like it had a black hole inside it. I gave it a small mouth because nobody really knows what it eats. I made it more fish-like than worm-like, with pufferfish-style spikes and translucent fins so it looks different from all my other creatures.
