The Story

Among the giants of the abyss, Leviathan Grazer is one of the most peaceful.

Slowly gliding through open waters, it filters enormous amounts of seawater in search of microscopic organisms. Smaller creatures often swim alongside it, finding safety beneath its immense body as it travels the deep.

Its calm presence reminds researchers that not every giant beneath the ocean is a predator.

Behind the Artwork

I wanted Leviathan Grazer to look creepy but also different from creatures people usually draw. I got the idea for its wings from a dragonfly, and I made its tail sharp like it could defend itself. I added jellyfish to show how enormous it is, plus yellow teeth, slime on its tongue, and glowing blue parts to make it look like it might even be poisonous.
